Post – Senior Planning Engineer

Qualification – B.E – Any Specialization

Experience – 6 to 11 years

Skill – Primavera (Must)

Job Description:

  • To work with all project disciplines to manage and the teams undertaking of total project schedule needs and integrating of schedule activities.
  • To direct the project schedule, manpower and quantity reporting and to ensure the preparation and presentation of the critical Items Action report.
  • To manage project schedule analysis and studies of problem areas for the Determining of criticality of schedule activities and develop alternatives
  • Participate in project progress review meetings and coordinates with Counterparts in concern services.
  • Coordinate with respective Site engineer / Project manager on day to day running of the contract in terms of progress, delays associated with the Works.
  • Identify all required resources to each activities.
  • Prepare 4 weeks look-ahead schedule for meetings with the field construction team, and ensure overall schedule compliance’s.
  • Material and Manpower resource loading for S – Curve & Histogram and generating the reports and submitting the same.
  • Follow up the targets of projects and resource and generating productivity Reports.
  • Arranging forecast reports and schedule updates and key performance Indicators reports.
  • Weekly schedule updates.
  • Work with the project installation / site schedule to resolve schedule conflicts.
  • Ensure that schedule changes are input on timely basis.
  • Prepare daily / weekly progress reports.
  • Prepare monthly summary of materials required, Fabrications, installation at sites and manpower reports.
  • Distribution of reports to Sites / projects / production / store / purchase / OM / PD GM etc.
  • Managing related software and its optimum utilization.
  • To manage project schedule analysis and studies of problem area for the determination of criticality of schedule activities and develop alternatives for schedule improvement.
  • To interface with project site management and client counterparts for specific planning and scheduling tasks.
  • To approve recommendations for planning and scheduling requirements relative to staffing and project control.
  • To direct implementation of planning schedule and co-ordinate the monitoring of work productivity against established norms.
  • To direct the development and presentation of designated subjects in training classes and the on the job training programs.
  • Coordinating with dept. like estimation, finance, production, store, purchase, all projects and site etc.
  • Identifying all required resources etc. Preparation of sub-contractors bills.
  • Preparing, updating and submitting all the necessary reports to management as per the prescribed proformas.
